February 15, 2017

CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Moore called the meeting to order at 9:00 A.M.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Mr.Waiz made the motion to APPROVE the minutes from the February 8, 2017
meeting,seconded by Mr. Dixon, passing on a vote of 3-0.
APPROVAL OF THE PAYROLL: Mr. Dixon made the motion to APPROVE the payroll,seconded by Mr.Waiz, passing
on a vote of 3-0.
OLD BUSINESS:
None
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Billy Sue Smith—Request for approval to use the Trolley on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from 11:00 A.M.to
6:00 P.M. Ms.Smith conveyed that she is a member of Kentuckiana Ladies of Distinction, Inc.the annual
conference of TOP Ladies of Distinction to convene in Louisville from Thursday March 29, 2017 through Sunday
April 2, 1017. Ms.Smith asked for the following: 1) Proclamation for the Group.2) Use of the Trolleys for
Jeffersonville Site Visit,on Wednesday March 28,2017. 3) Funding from the City Council and/or the UEZ by a
donation or advertisement in the program.4)A person to make a brief presentation/gratitude for visiting our area
at the Banquet held at the Galt House on March 31, 2017. Mayor Moore stated the Proclamation and the use of
the Trolley,the trolley can only be used in Jeffersonville,the funding from the City Council and/or the UEZ would
need to be presented to these entities and the brief presentation stating he would not be in town and stated
either Ms. Conlin,City Clerk or Mr. Lovan might be available. Ms. Conlin stated she would be glad to present on
behalf of the City. Mr.Waiz made the motion to APPROVE the Trolley for TOPS Ladies of Distinction,seconded by
Mr. Dixon passing on a vote of 3-0.
ADJOURNMENT:
With no further action from the Board, Mr.Waiz made the motion to ADJOURN,seconded by Dixon. M eting
adjourned at 9:45 A.M.
