The Redevelopment Authority earlier today approved the lease for the
Riverside Landing Development Project. Councilperson Harrod 'made the
motion to pass Ordinance No. 90-OR-58, An Ordinance Of The City Of
Jeffersonville, Indiana, Approving A Lease For The Riverside Landing
Development Project Between The Jeffersonvitle Redevelopment Authority
And The Jeffersonville Redevelopment Commission, on the third and final
reading, passing on a vote of 6-1. Councilperson Carter voted in
opposition.

Councilperson Harrod made the motion to pass Ordinance No.
90-OR-60, An Ordinance Establishing A Schedule Of Rates And Charges To
Be Collected By The City Of Jeffersonville From The Owners Of Property
Served By The Sewage Works Of Said City And Other Matters Connected

circumstances with the Poore rezoning. Councilperson Harrod feels there
is no use for the land in questions except for what is being requested,
master plan or not. The following roll call vote was then taken:
Ayes: Councilpersons Clapp, Waiz, Harrod, and Carter.
Nays: Councilpersons Perkins, and Grooms.
Abstain: Councilperson Williams.
Attorney Filer explained the Ordinance can only be passed on
the first and second reading as it must have 5 votes to pass on all
three. Ordinance No. 90-OR-61 will have the third and final reading at
the December 12, 1990 meeting.

Mr. Krebs has researched Hall Construction, the low bidder for the
project, distributing and explaining information on the company. He has
called the listed references and has received no negative comments and
many favorable and he feels totally confortable and is very confident
with the company. Council President Waiz is concerned that the grade of
concrete be inspected. Mr. Krebs explained every pour will be checked.
Hall Construction will be bonded. Mr. Krebs will not be a resident on
the project but will have residents on the project and he will be there
two or three times a week. He then introduced Mr. Tom Wood of Hall
Construction who distributed a brochure and a project list and then

There being no further business to come before the Council,
Councilperson Perkins made the motion to adjourn at 8:55 P.M., seconded
by Councilperson Grooms and carried unanimously.
