A RESOLUTION OF INTENT TO REINSTATE TWO POSITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
TO ORDINANCE NO. 96-OR-53, AND ORDINANCE NO. 96-OR-55 FOR 1997
WHEREAS; the City of JeffeFsonville Common Council did pass
Ordinance No. 9~-OR-53, An Ordinance Fixing Basic Salaries Of
Appointed Officers And Employees Of The City Of Jeffersonville,
Indiana For The Year 1997, which did not include the positions of
Third Deputy and Bookkeeper in the Department of Finance. Such
positions were established positions in said department.
IT IS HEREBY AGREEDED UPON, to amend Ordinance No. 95-OR-53
at the first meeting in January 1997, to reinstate the positions of
Third Deputy and Bookkeeper in the Department of Finance for 1997. It
is understood this will be reviewed during budget sessions for the
1998 budget, when a more thorough and inclusive form of evaluation of
all departments and positions can be established.
IT IS ALSO AGREEDED UPON to pass an Ordinance of Additional
Appropriation to fund said positions as soon as possible in 1997.

the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville, Clark County,
Indiana.
