COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF JEFFERSONVILLE~ INDIANA
JULY Bi, 1993
The Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville met in the
Mayor's Conference Roomy in the City-County Building~ Jeffersonville~
Indiana~ at 6:00 P.M. on the Blst day of July, 1993.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Raymond J. Parker
Jr.~ with Clerk and Treasurer C. Richard Spencer Jr~ at the desk.
The roll was called and those present were Councilpersons
Bill Wolpert~ Andrew Williams III, Donna M. Frantz~ Peggy Knight
Wilder~ Barbara Wilson~ Robert L. Potter~ and Steven R. Stemler.
Absent: None.
It was announced that due to budget requirements the August
meetings will be held~ Monday~ August B~ at 8:30 P.M.~ Monday~ August
~3, at ?:30 P.M.~ and Monday, August 30~ at 9:30 P.M.
Mayor Parker introduced Ordinance No. 9B-OR-48~ An
Ordinance Fixing Basic Salaries Of Appointed Officers And Employees Of
The City Of Jeffersonville, Indiana For The Year 1994. Council
President Potter made the motion to suspend the rules for Ordinance
No. 93-0R-48~ seconded by Councilperson Williams and carried
unanimously. Council President Potter then made the motion to pass
Ordinance No. 93-0R-48 on all three readings~ seconded by
Councilperson Williams~ passing on the following roll call vote:
Wilder~
Ayes: Councilpersons Stemler, Potter, Wolpert~ Frantz,
Williams, and Wilson.
Nays: None.
Council President Potter thanked the Council for their many

Mayor Parker commended the Council for the smooth decision
leading to the passage of the salary ordinance.
There being no further business to come before the Council,
Council President Potter moved to adjourn at ?:15 o'clock P.M.
seconded by Councilperson Stemler and unanimously carried.
