The Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville met in the
Conference Room~ in the City-County Buildings Jeffersonvilles
at 6:00 P.M. on the ~Oth day of July, 1993.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor
Clerk and Treasurer C. Richard Spencer
The roll was called
Wolpert~ Andrew Williams
Barbara Wilson, Robert L. Potters and Steven R. Stemler.
Absent: None.
Council President Potter
Raymond J. Parker
Jr, at the desk.
and those present were Councilpersons
III, Donna M. Frantz, Peggy Knight
made the motion to pay the claims
by Councilperson Wolpert
as presented the previous evening, seconded
and carried unanimously.
Mayor Parker presented Ordinance No~ 93-0R-49~ An Ordinance
Permitting The Docking Of Gambling Riverboats In Jeffersonville.
Following discussion, Council President Potter made the motion to
suspend the rules for Ordinance No. 93-0R-47~ seconded by
Councilperson Williams and carried unanimously. Council President
Potter then made the motion to pass Ordinance No. 93-0R-47 on all
three readings, seconded by Councilperson Williams, passing on the
following roll call vote:
Ayes: Councilpersons Potter, Stemler, Wilson,
Wolpert, Williams, and Frantz.
Nays: None.
Council President Potter made the motion
meeting at 6:30 o'clock P.M. to meet in budget
Councilperson Stemler and unanimously carried.
