AN ORDINANCE OF ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION
FOR SPECIFIC SIDEWALK PROJECTS
WHEREAS, the Common Council for the City of Jeffersonville, Clark
County Indiana (hereinafter the "Council"), is the City's statutory Fiscal and
Legislative Bodies pursuant to Indiana Code;
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to appropriate
more money than was appropriated in the annual budget for certain sidewalk
projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the
City of Jeffersonville, Indiana=
That for the expenses of certain sidewalk projects in the City, the following
sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the General
Fund and for the purposes herein specified, subject to a law governing the same,
and furthermore that the said additional appropriations shall be used only for the
specific sidewalk projects as set forth below:

12th Street Road Diet
14th Street Road Diet
Claysburg Intersection Sidewalk Ramps
Skyline Drive
Allison Lane (Wooded Way to Seminole Drive)

Total Amount of Additional Appropriations $559,750.00
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that if any money remains in the specific
appropriation after a specific sidewalk project is completed, the remaining money
cannot be spent for or transferred to a different project or for a different purpose
unless and until the Common Council takes official action approving any such
different project or different purpose:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director of the City of
Jeffersonville, Indiana is hereby ordered and directed to give notice as provided
by law of the said additional appropriations_
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval_
