AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING
SPEED LIMIT. DN SPRING STREET
Be it Ordained by the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana that the
speed limit on Spring Street between Hamburg Pike and Fourteenth Street shall be twenty-five
miles per hour. However, in the marked school zone on that stretch of roadway the speed limit
shall be twenty miles per hour when children are present.
Furthermore, it is Ordained by the Common Council that the speed limit on Fourteenth
Street and Spring Street westwardly to the city limits shall be twenty-five miler per hour.
A person that violates this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of at least $1.00 and not
exceeding $500.00.
This Ordinance shall be in effect seven days after its passage and signing by the Mayor.
