OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
November 13, 2013
Rick Lovan called the meeting to order at 9:32 AM and on the call of roll were Kelly Reed standing in for
Rick Lovan who was standing in for the Mayor and Russ Seagraves standing in for councilperson Bryan
Glover.
Also present: HR Director Kim Calabro, P &Z Coordinator Dan Matson, Utility Billing Manager Elisha Dale,
Controller Amy Deering, IT Director Matt Dyer, Police Chief Chris Grimm, Animal Shelter Director Charlie
Heavrin, Fire Chief Eric Hedrick, Assistant Fire Chief Bruce DeArk, Street Commissioner Clark Miles, Parks
Superintendent Paul Northam, Executive Assistant Judith VanGilder, UEZ Director Kelly Phillips, Grant
Writer DeLynn Rutherford, Wastewater Director Len Ashack, Engineer Bill Dixon.
Mr. Seagraves made a motion to APPROVE the November 6, 2013, minutes with Ms. Phillips seconding,
PASSING on a vote of 3 -0.
Ms. Phillips made a motion to APPROVE payroll with Mr. Seagraves seconding, PASSING on a vote of 3 -0
OLD BUSINESS:
None
NEW BUSINESS:
Chris Jackson, Dan Christiani Excavating — Road closures at Wathen Heights & Virginia Ave:
Mr. Jackson came before the board to request approval of a road closure on Virginia Avenue between
• Utica Pike and Bennett. Work will start November 18 Alternate route would be off Bennett to Alison
Lane. He, also, asked if they could use a portion of the parking area at Duffy's landing to store materials.
A motion was made by Ms. Phillips to APPROVE, with Mr. Seagraves seconding, PASSING on a vote of 3-
0.
ADJOURNMENT:
Mr. Seagraves made a motion to adjourn at 9:40am, with Ms. Phillips seconding, PASSING unanimously.
