April 9, 2013
April regular meeting of the Jeffersonville Building Authority was held on Tuesday, A p 9,
2013, at 9:00 a.m. in the Building Commissioner's Conference Room on the second floor in the
Jeffersonville City Hall.
Present were Building Commissioner Russ Segraves, Board Members Don Sperzel and Dennis
Julius. Also present was Administrative Assistant Susan Robertson.
MINUTES
Mr. Julius made a motion to approve the March 12, 2013 minutes. The motion was seconded by
Mr. Sperzel and carried unanimously.
BUDGET
The History by Appropriation Report was not available.
NEW LEASE ORDINANCE
Mr. Segraves reported that Attorney Les Merkley is still in the process of finalizing the Lease.
Mr. Merkley is also working to see if the Board and approve certain things without having to go
through the Board of Public Works and Safety.
CAMERA CLAIM
Mr. Segraves said that Security Pro is in the process of installing cameras per the proposal
presented at the March 12, 2013 meeting. The Board of Public Works has approved the claim.
WINDOW CLEANING
Mr. Segraves presented a quote from Window King in the amount of $515.00. They propose to
use a ladder only. This quote is $75.00 more than the one submitted by R T Solutions. R T
Solutions said they would be using a lift. Mr. Segraves said the window cleaning was not a
priority and will hold off until some of the other work on the building is completed
PAINTING
It was reported that RT Solutions will start the painting in the common area tomorrow evening.
The stairs will not be varnished as it takes too long to dry. The door jams will be painted on an
as need basis. The Board of Public Works has approved the submitted bid.
