PUBLIC MEETING
JUNE 13, 2013
The Jeffersonville Redevelopment Commission held a Public Meeting on June 13, 2013, that was
to order at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers, located at 500
called t � Quartermaster Court, Q
Jeffersonville, Indiana.
The following board members were present:
Monty Snelling, Jamie Lake and Jack Vissing
Absent: Kevin LaGrange, Rob Stevens and
Greater Clark School Board Representative Jerry White
Staff Members present:
Mayor Mike Moore, Redevelopment Commission Attorney Les Merkley, Redevelopment Director
Rob Waiz, Grant Administrator DeLynn Rutherford and CMMS Clerk Cindy Seifert
Guests present:
Alan Muncy and Eric Goodman with API and Steve Reach, Mike Fulkerson and Eric Brewer
with White Reach, Mike Hutt, Mike Czape, Richard Eklund and Brayden Lammers with The
Evening News
CALL TO ORDER
Mr. Snelling called the public meeting to order at 6:00 PM.
PUBLIC MEETING
Mr. Snelling advised that the objective of the public meeting was to a fact finding and presentation
for the RFP for the properties near 10 Street and Spring Streets.

COMMENTS
Mr. Lake advised that the original purchase price of these properties was $580,000.
Mr. Lake expressed his dislike for strip center retail business on the site.
Mr. Lake expressed his concern in the traffic issues that will occur on Spring Street.
PUBLIC COMMENT
Gentleman 1 — Stated that he travels Spring Street to 10 Street every day. He never sees more
than 4 cars turnin g right. This should be an incentive for visitors to turn right and come into the
i I city. He added that he does not want a McDonalds in that area.
111 I Gentleman 2 Stated that plan lan includes local business. He added the master plan should
include places to live.
Lady — Moved to Jeffersonville in 1964, it has taken 10+ years to grow out past Allison Lane.
