President Dennis Henry called the Jeffersonville Police Merit Commission
meeting to order at 6:00 P.M. in the City Counsel Hall, First Floor, 500 Quarter Master
Court, Jeffersonville, Indiana. The following members were present: Dennis Henry, Jim
Hall, Jeremy Snelling, Clay "Beany" Smith and Bob Bottorff. Absent were Bonnie
Deppert and Patty Rush.
"An Executive Session was held prior to the Regular Meeting of the City of
Jeffersonville Police Merit Commission. Public notice of the Executive Session was
properly given pursuant to the dictates of Ind. Code #5- 14 -1.5 et. Seq., and no subject
matter was discussed in the Executive Session other than the subject matter specified in
the public notice."
President Henry presented a claim from Public Safety Medical Services for Perf
Exams on Drew S. Lyndon and Brandon M. McGhee. This was a total of $2,090.64 for
both candidates. Mr. Smith made motion to accept the claim and seconded by Mr.
Snelling. Voted 3 -0
President Henry presented a claim for quarterly per diem for all Commission
members with a total of $1,500.00. Mr. Snelling made motion to accept the claim and
seconded by Mr. Smith. Voted 3 -0
President Henry presented a claim for office supplies to Office Supply Company
in total amount of $4.50. Mr. Smith made motion to accept the claims and seconded by
Mr. Snelling. Voted 3 -0
President Henry presented a claim for Patty Rush for secretarial services for
Commissions I the amount of $400.00. Mr. Smith made motion to accept the claim and
seconded by Mr. Snelling. Voted 3 -0
President Henry presented a claim from Attorney Robert Bottorff in the amount of
$420.00 on Invoice #5027. This is for the month of May for attorney services. Mr.
Snelling mad motion to accept the claim and seconded by Mr. Smith. Voted 3 -0
President Henry gave an update for promotional process and dates of interviews
are going to be as follows:
Corporals July 31, 2013 at 4:00 P.M.
Sergeants July 30, 2013 at 4:00 P.M.
Lieutenants July 29, 2013 at 4:00 P.M.
Mr. Smith made motion to adjourn at 6 • : • . and seconded by Mr. Henry. Our
