Attendees: Dawn Struck, Jay Ellis, Shane Corbin, Melissa Deaver, and Nathan Samuel.
A draft Request for Proposals (RFP) was discussed. This RFP will be for the purpose of
attracting a Public Art Administrator/Agency for Jeffersonville. Shane Corbin is compiling
the points/changes made in discussions and will have a second draft available for next
meeting.
With the Big Four ramp to be opened up late Summer, it was decided not to wait to have
input on amenities and other artful ideas for the Jeffersonville side. Shane Corbin is
working on a "call for artists" for areas around the Big Four (the landing is being worked on
by the architect for the Big Four, however, we have requested to have the ability to provide
input and be responsible for some pieces). We do not wish to focus strictly on downtown
for this initial call, and it will also include other "gateway" area locations. This will be
discussed at our next meeting,
