The Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville met in Workshop session in the
Mayor's Conference Room in the City County Building, Jeffersonville, Indiana on the
l0th day of April, 2000.
Council President Ron Ellis, with Councilperson Vicki Conlin at the desk, called the
meeting to order at 5:30 PM. Other Councilpersons present were Barbara Wilson, Les
Merkley, Rob Waiz, Denny Frantz and Ron Grooms.
Others present were Council Attorney Shon Leverett, Evening News reporter Doug
Begley, Sissy Ellis, Keith McGraw, Tony Decker, Phil McCauley and Courier Journal
Reporter Gracie Lee Uy.
Arthur Wilmes, FSA, of Milliman and Robertson, Inc. presented information to the City
Council regarding an actuarial study regarding retiree insurance benefits performed by
the company. A discussion followed with a question and answer period. No action was
taken.
There being no further business, the workshop was adjourned at approximately 6:00 PM.
