A PORTION OF A CERTAIN STREET AND ALLEYS IN THE
CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE ORDINANCE NO.
ORDINANCE GRANTING PETITION TO VACATE
PORTION OF STREET AND ALLEYS
Comes now the Board of Directors of Clark Memorial Hospital,
hereinafter referred to as the Hospital, and the Hospital having
heretofore filed its Petition to Vacate Portion of Street and
alleys, which petition reads as follows: (here insert), and
notice of said petition and the time and place of the hearing on
the same having been given by the clerk-treasurer of the City of
Jeffersonville pursuant to the provisions of I.C. 5-3-1, which
notice reads as follows: (here insert), and the Common Council
of the City of Jeffersonville having examined and heard evidence
on said petition and being duly advised in the premises, now
finds that said petition should be granted.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City
of Jeffersonville that the real property located in Clark County,
Indiana,
attached
hereby vacated
simple title to
in the Hospital.
SO ORDERED
shown on Exhibit A and described in Exhibits B and C
to and made a part of this ordinance, shall be and is
by the City of Jeffersonville and that the fee
said portion of said street and alleys shall vest
this

DESCRIPTION OF A PORTION OF AKERS AVENUE IN JEFFERSONVILLE'
Beginning at an iron pin at the southeast corner of the
intersection of Thirteenth Street al~d Akers Avenue in the
City of Jeffersonville, Indiana, thence the following courses
of tile boundary;
South 4 deg. 35 min. [6 sec. West, 140.O0 feet with the east
line of Akers Avenue to a point in the south line of a
ten foot wide alley, passing an iron pin at 130.00 feet;
North 85 deg. 29 min. 44 sec. West, 50.00 feet, to a point in
the west line of Akers Avenue
North 4 deg. 35 min. 16 sec. East, 140.00 feet with said west
line of Akers Avenue to all iron pin in the south line of
Thirteenth Street;
South 86 deg. 29 mill. 44 sec. East, 50.00 feet to the true
place.of beginning.

Beginning at an iron pin in the east line of Akers Avenue
which marius tile southwest coruer of Lot 3 of Ingram
Subdivision, thence the following courses:
South 85 deg. 29 min. 44 sec° East, i25.00 feet with the
north'line of a ten {10] foot wide alley to a nail which
marks the southeast corner of Lot i of Ingram
Subdivision;
North 4 deg. 35 min. i6 sec. East, i30.OO feet with the east
line of said Lot I to an iron pin in the south line of
Thirteenth Street;
South 85 deg. 29 min. 44 sec. East, 10.00 feet to a point in
said south line of Thirteenth Street;

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO VACATE PORTION OF STREET AND ALLEYS
NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Directors of Clark
Memorial Hospital has filed a petition with the Common Council of
the City of Jeffersonville to vacate a portion of Akers Avenue
and alleys connecting
Jeffersonville, Indiana,
the south end thereof and
and 13th Street.

Akers Avenue and 13th Street in
that portion of Akers Avenue being at
said alleys being between Akers Avenue
A public hearing will be held on April 5, 1993, at 7:30 p.m.
the Jeffersonville City Council Chambers, Room 258, on the
second floor in the judicial wing of the City-County Building,
501 East Court Avenue, Jeffersonville, Indiana, at which time and
place all interested persons will be heard in reference to
matters set out in said petition.
