ORDINANCE GRANTING PETITION TO VACATE PORTION OF STREET
Comes now the Board of Directors of Clark Memorial Hospital,
hereinafter referred to as the Hospital, and the Hospital having
heretofore filed its Petition to Vacate Portion of Street, which
petition reads as follows: (here insert), and notice of said
petition and the time and place of the hearing on the same having
been given by the clerk-treasurer of the City of Jeffersonville
pursuant to the provisions of I.C. 5-3-1, which notice reads as
follows: (here insert), and the Common Council of the City of
jef fersonville having examined and heard evidence on said
petition, and being duly advised in the premises, now finds that
said petition should be granted.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City
of Jeffersonville that the real property located in Clark County,
Indiana, shown on Exhibit A and described in Exhibit B attached
to and made a part of this ordinance, shall be and is hereby
vacated by the City of Jeffersonville and that the fee simple
title to said portion of said street shall vest in the Hospital.

DESCRIPTION OF MISSOURI AVENUE BETWEEN SPARKS AVENUE AND
THIRTEENTH STREET
A part of Missouri Avenue in the City of Jeffersonville of Clark County, Indiana,
bounded ns follows: ·.
Beginning at the southeast comer of the intersection of Sparks Avenue and Missouri
Avenue, thence the courses of the boundary:
North 85 deg. 29 min. 44 sec. West, 60.00 feet to the southwest cower of the intersection of
Sparks Avenue and Missouri Avenue;
North 4 deg. 22 min. 45 sec. East, 425.80 feet with the west fight-of-way line of Missouri
Avenue to the southwest corner of the intersection of Missouri Avenue and Thirteenth
Street;
South 85 deg. 29 min. 44 sec. East, 60.00 feet to the southeast comer of the intersection of
Missouri Avenue and Thirteenth Street;
South 4 deg. 22 min. 45 sec. West, 425.80 feet with the east right-of-way line of Missouri
Avenue to the place of beginning, containing 0.587 acres of land, mom or less.

A PORTION OF A CERTAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF
JEFFERSONVILLE
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO VACATE PORTION OF STREET
NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Directors of Clark
Memorial Hospital has filed a petition with the Common Council of
'the City of Jeffersonville to vacate a portion of Missouri Avenue
in Jeffersonville, Indiana, that portion being between the south
line of Thirteenth Street and the south line of Sparks Avenue.
A public hearing will be held on April 5, 1993, at 7:30 p.m.
in the Jeffersonville City Council Chambers, Room 258, on the
second floor in the judicial wing of the City-County Building,
501 East Court Avenue, Jeffersonville, Indiana, at which time and
place all interested persons will be heard in reference to
matters set out in said petition.
