OF THE MAYOR OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
An Order to Rename Certain Streets
WHEREAS, a request has been made to rename certain streets in the City of
Jeffersonville;
WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36 -7 -4 -405 (g) an executive acting under subsection
(e) or (f) shall name or rename streets; (1) so that their names are easy to understand; and
(2) to avoid duplication or conflict with other names;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR OF THE CITY
OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA, THAT:
{
1. That "4202, 4210, 4218 and 4406 East Highway 62" shall be renamed
"4202, 4210, 4218 and 4406 Helen Road ".
2. This Order shall become effective immediately.
6. It is further Ordered that a Certified Copy of this Order shall be issued to
the following: (1) the Circuit Court Clerk or Board of Registration; (2) the
administrator of the enhanced emergency telephone system established
under IC 36 -8 -16; if any; (3) The United States Postal Service; and (4) any
person or body that the Executive cons' • ers appropriate to receive notice.
