Re: Jeffersonville Riverfront Conceptual Design Services
Dear Mike,
Thank you for including TEG in this project. It was a pleasure to meet with Mr. Jorge Lanz and Mr. Rob
Waiz on Monday, July 30, 2012. As a follow up, we present this proposal.
It is my understanding that the scope of this project involves conceptual design for the area of the
Jeffersonville, Indiana riverfront with a western boundary of the Terrace Lawn and an eastern boundary of
the Jeff Boat property.
The elements of this design effort include:
• A lower level /water level roadway. •
• Potential green space at the lower level elevation.
• A sidewalk /boardwalk along the water's edge.
• A reconstructed riverbank slope, with access stairs /ramps.
• Green space at Riverside Drive level to the southern edge of Riverside Drive.
An option that was discussed and is currently not resolved is the potential and inclusion of an eddy at the
eastern boundary of the project. fi
TEG will be involved in the following areas:
• Development of conceptual design elements in the area outlined above and including elements
and components outlined above.
• It is also understood that TEG will coordinate with Jacobi, Toombs & Lanz, Inc. and the City of
Jeffersonville regarding reviews of the conceptual design, coordination of constructability issues,
and review of US Army Corp. of Engineers concerns within the project area.
• TEG will participate in up to 3 meetings to review conceptual design and accomplish the
coordination outlined above.

TEG will produce the following:
• Rendered site plans in multiple scales outlining overall concepts and larger scale plans which are p
annotated to facilitate construction cost estimating, provided by others.
• TEG will also produce ground level views of the various elements and components involved, up t
to 6 views will be included.
• TEG will roduce an animation of approximately pproximately 1 minute which provides the City of
Jeffersonville and related agencies with a recognizable quality of project design experience. l

TEG proposes to provide this Scope of Services within a 4 week period of time from authorization to I

proceed and expeditious reviews with Jacobi, Toombs & Lanz, Inc.
TEG proposes a fee including reimbursable of $22,850 (Twenty -Two Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty
Dollars). `
