MINUTES OF THE
JEFFERSONVILLE DRAINAGE BOARD
MAY 15, 2012
The Jeffersonville Drainage Board met on May 15, 2012 in the City Building Conference
Room, Second Floor, Jeffersonville, Indiana. Chairman Bryant called the meeting to order at
5:30 P.M. with the following in attendance:

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Chairman Bryant presented the minutes from May 1, 2012 meeting, asking if there were
any corrections. There was one correction and Mr. Gill made motion to approve after
correction and seconded by Mr. McCreight. Motion passed unanimously
Mr. Patterson and Mr. Wallin addressed the Board and plans regarding a Sav-A-Step p g g p to
be located at 610 Providence Way. Mr. Crouch had reviewed the plans and visited the site
with some Board Members and approved area after a change per Mr. Crouch. Mr. Madden
made motion to approve the plans and seconded by Mr. Rogge Motion passed unanimously
Mr. Edward Hack, 2410 Logan Lane, Jeffersonville, Indiana addressed the Board
regarding a pump station, water backup and flooding. Mr. Crouch will review area with Mr.
Pate and Sewer Department about removing dirt behind houses in this area.
Deb Ashack, Stormwater Coordinator:
The 2012 MS4 Annual Meeting will be conducted on May 17, 2012 from 8:00 A.M. until 3:30
P.M. at the Marriott Indianapolis East.
Hoosier Riverwatch Training will be held on June 5, 2012 at Lapping Park in Clarksville, IN
from 8:00 A.M. until 4:30 P.M. This is a DNR Division of Fish and Wildlife program to
increase public awareness of water quality and stream health and a means to collect stream data
statewide. This will provide quality assurance and consistency in data collection.
Stormwater Awareness Week, Third week in June
SWAC activity is to raise stormwater awareness and meet requirement for Public
Education and outreach and Public Participation permit requirements.
CLAIMS:
Chairman Bryarftpresented claims in the amount of $85,485.42. Mr. Morton made
motion to approve the claims in the amount of $85,485.42 and seconded by Mr. Gill.
Motion passed unanimously
Our next meeting will be held on June 5, 2012.
