BEFORE THE COMMON COUNCIL
FOR THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE DEADLINE FOR FILING OF CF-1 FORMS FOR 2012-2012
WHEREAS, the Common Council for the City of Jeffersonville ("Council") is the designating body
for purposes of property tax abatements; and
WHEREAS, the deadline for the filing of the CF -1 forms with the Clark County Auditor was May
1, 2012 and
WHEREAS, as the designating body, the Council has the authority to extend the aforementioned
deadline; and
WHEREAS, due to an internal problem on the part of the City of Jeffersonville, certain CF-1
forms have not been filed; and
WHEREAS, it would be just and appropriate to extend the deadline to ensure compliance with
Indiana law and acceptance of the CF-1 forms by the Clark County Auditor; and 1
WHEREAS, the City of Jeffersonville will not be prejudiced by the extension of the deadline.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council for the City of Jeffersonville,
Indiana, that the deadline for the filing of CF -1 forms for 2012-2013 with the Clark County Auditor is
hereby extended to August 1, 2012 for those business listed in Exhibit "A".
This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
Passed and adopted on this / 8 day of June, 2012, by the Common Council for the City of
Jeffersonville, Indiana.
