The Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville met in a Workshop on Monday, March 19, 2012.
Council President Zastawny called the meeting to order at 6:05 P.M., and on roll call members pres =nt
were: Council President Edward Zastawny, Council Vice - President Connie Sellers, Councilperson Li .
Gill, Councilperson Matt Owen, Councilperson Mike Smith, Councilperson Bryan Glover, Councilper' • n

Council Attorney Scott Lewis, Vicki Conlin City Clerk, and Monica Harmon Controller.
Council President Zastawny stated the reason for the workshop was to talk about finances and the city
budget, what the approved budget from the state looks like and to talk about CAGIT, CEDIT and 101 .
Controller Harmon reviewed several handouts with the council, First) Analysis of 2012 1782 N 'tice.
Budget submitted to the state was $26,000,000.00 and approved for the $26,000,000.00. Second) '012
CIVIL Max Levy Report — ADJ. Max Levy Due to Error Correction and /or Shortfall $22,627,659.00. ird)

Controller Harmon reported the CAGIT, CEDIT and LOIT distributions for January and February • • en
received, within two to three weeks should know what the circuit breaker amount would be.
• Council discussed several purchases that have been waiting for the Street Department, dice
Department that are in great need. Councilperson Smith suggested four (4) council members look . the
budget after notification of the circuit breaker amount.
