THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA, AMENDING
ITEM ~1 IN RESOLUTION NO. 94R2, APPROVED ON
JANUARY 10, 1994.
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville,
Indiana, approved Resolution No. 94R2 on January 10, 1994,
entitled "RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA, AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL OF A TITLE IX
GRANT APPLICATION TO THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE, ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION", and;
WHEREAS, Item ~1 in the above-mentioned resolution incorrectly
"directs and authorizes the President of the Clark County
Commission to act in connection with the application and to provide
such additional information as may be required."
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA, THAT:
1. Resolution No. 94R2, Item ~1, is hereby amended to read as
follows:
"The Common Council hereby authorizes the filing of said
application, jointly with the Indiana Port Commission and
with Clark County, including all understandings and
assurances contained therein, and directs and authorizes
the Mayor of the city of Jeffersonville to act in
connection with the application and to provide such
additional information as may be required."
