A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INVESTMENT
OF TEMPORARILY ~FUNDS
WHEREAS, the Clerk and Treasurer has on hand in certain
accounts more funds than are currently necessary for the immediate use
of such accounts, and~
WHEREAS~ the
Indiana now provide for
Acts of the General Assembly of the State of
the temporary investment of such funds.
Passed and adopted this
1994~ by the Common Council of
County, Indiana.
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of the City
of Jeffersonville, that the Clerk and Treasurer be~ and he hereby is~
authorized to invest the following sums from the accounts, and for the
time indicated.
From Such accounts the Clerk and Treasurer finds that
excess money at the present time would be more bene-
ficial to the City of Jeffersonville to invest as
authorized by the State Board of Accounts.
The time period for such funds should be left for the
discretion of the Clerk and Treasurer. Time for such
investments would not exceed December 31, 1994.
