ORDINANCE ESTABLI'SHING A NON-REVERTING FUND
FOR THE PURPOSES OF ALLEVIATING DRAINAGE PROBLEMS
WHEREAS, the City of Jeffersonville is hereby devising a
plan to alleviate drainage problems within the City; and
WHEREAS, the City receives monies from tax revenues within
the budget of the Common Council; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the
City of Jeffersonville~ Indiana that it hereby establishes a
non-reverting fund for the purposes alleviating drainage problems
within the City. This non-reverting fund shall be entitled the
Drainage Non-Reverting Fund and monies shall be expended from this
fund only upon the filing of a proper claim in issuance of a warrant
for payment by the Clerk and Treasurer after approval by the Common
Council of the City of Jeffersonville. No salary or labor charges
shall be paid to City employees from this Fund. This fund shall be a
non-reverting fund and ~0 be continued until rescinded by the
Council at which time all remaining funds shall revert to the General
Fund balance.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its
timely passage, promogation and approval by the Mayor.
Passed and adopted by the Common Council of the City of
Jeffersonville~ Clark County~ State of Indiana, on the _~_~__ day of
