PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES AGREEMENT
TENTH STREET PUMP STATION EXPANSION AND FORCE MAIN
This AMENDMENT NO. 2. made on this 1st day of September, 2011 by and between the
Jeffersonville Sanitary Sewer Board, Jeffersonville, Indiana (herein called OWNER) and CH2M
Hill Engineers, Inc. (herein called ENGINEER) shall amend and become part of the Professional
Engineering Services Agreement between OWNER and ENGINEER dated the 21# day of April,
2011 (hereafter called AGREEMENT).
In accordance with Section 3 of the AGREEMENT, the following shall be incorporated in the
AGREEMENT.
Section 2 - Scope of Service§
Add 2.9 to the Scope of Services
2.9 - The following services supplement the construction administration services for the Tenth
Street Pump Station Expansion project.
1. Prepare and discuss review comments with VS Engineering. Review and adjudicate VSE
responses and determine implementation plan for construction.
a. Provide marked up revisions to screen building structure to make it more
constructible and reduce amount of concrete required. Discuss alternative
foundation system with VSE, geotechnical engineer, and contractor, and develop
new foundation system design criteria that will prevent excessive differential
settlement. Review revised VSE design. incorporate the design changes into as-
built drawings at the end of the project.
b. Perform redesign services to address QC review comments for the grit tanks and
overflow structure between the tanks. Prepare field modification to incorporate
redesign.
c. Provide marked up revisions to VSE for the pump station to address review
comments. Review revised VSE design.
d. Provide marked up revisions to VSE for miscellaneous structures to address
review comments. Review revised VSE design.
e. Review revised specifications prepared by VSE.
f. Review revised design criteria and life safety plan prepared by VSE.
2. Coordinate CH2M HILL team, and communications with contractor, vendors, and VSE
to review and implement design revisions. Review process engineering and prepare
design revisions to improve system performance, operability, and maintainability.
Conduct QC review of VSE solutions and implement with contractor.
3. Expand electrical and I &C services during construction; prepare three process and
instrumentation diagrams (P &ID) for contractor guidance and to assist city staff
understanding of system during and after facility start-up.

Section 6 - Payment to Engineer
Add Section 2.9 - The OWNER shall pay the ENGINEER based on the not - to-exceed amount of
$72,700.

2.9.1 Structural/Architectural Redesign Coordination $12,000
2.9.2 Coordination, Process Design Review, QC of Redesign $32,000
2.9.3 Expand Electrical, I &C Services, and Prepare P &ID Drawings $28,700
Total $72,700
This Amendment No. 2 increases the Total Contract Amount to 5689,680.
