OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
July 6, 2011
Mayor Galligan called the meeting to order at 9:36 a.m. and on the call of the roll
those members present were Engineering Coordinator Rick Lovan and Councllperson
Barbara Wilson.
Also present were: Parks Director Bob Manor, Vehicle Maintenance Director Bubby Vissing,
Street Commissioner David Hosea, Animal Shelter Director Harry Wilder, Building Commissioner
Russ Segraves. Officer Don Grimes, Safety Director Dominick Mongarella, Police Chief Tim
Deeringer, Communications Director Larry Thomas, Emergency Planner Mindy Christian, WWTP
Director Len Ashack, Sewer Office Manager Bruce Wright, Assistant Fire Chief Mike
McCutcheon, City Engineer Andy Crouch, Assistant City Engineer Bill Dixon, Human Resources
Director Kim Catabro, IT Director Roger Hardy, Financial Advisor Monica Harmon, City Attorney
Darren Wilder, and Clerk & Treasurers Office Representative Amanda Oelze.
Councilperson Barbara Wilson made the motion to approve minutes from June 22, 2011,
Engineering Coordinator Rick Lovan seconded and passing unanimously. Councilperson Barbara
Wilson made the motion to approve minutes from June 29.2011, Engineering Coordinator Rick
Lovan seconded, passing unanimously.

Engineering Coordinator Rick Lovan made the motion to approve payroll, Councilperson Barbara
Wilson seconded, and passing on a vote of 3.0.
OLD BUSINESS

NEW BUSINESS
Duke Enorgy Utility Easement
City Engineer Andy Crouch came before the board to request a utility easement for Duke Energy
on Hamburg Pike. After further discussion Engineering Coordinator Rick Lovan made the motion
to approve and Councilperson Barbara Wilson seconded, passing unanimously.
Schimpffs
Schimpfrs came before the board to request permission to park the "Jelly Belly' bus in front of
their business starling on Friday, July 22 after 6 p.m. until Saturday, July 23 at 6 p.m. The event
will be Saturday, July 23 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Councilperson Barbara Wilson made the motion
to approve and Engineering Coordinator Rick Lovan seconded, passing unanimously.
Engineering Coordinator thanked everyone for their participation in the July 4 parade.
Engineering Coordinator Rick Lovan made the motion to adjourn at 9:46 A.M. and Councilperson
Barbara Wilson seconded, passing unanimously.
