INTERSECTING ALLEY IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA.
WHEREAS, G. F. Munich, Inc. has filed a petition requesting
the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana, to vacate that portion of the
alley between Fairview Street and other property owned by G. F.
Munich, Inc., which petition is in the words and figures as
follows:
To the Mayor and Common Council
of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana
G. F. Munich, Inc., by its President and Chief Executive
Officer, hereby petitions the Common Council of the city of
Jeffersonville, hereinafter called the city, to vacate a certain
ten (10) foot alley described in this petition and in support of
this petition, it says as follows:
14 That it owns the real estate shown on the City Plat
Map identified as section 16, 17, 18 and 19. The City Plat Map is
attached and marked as Exhibit A. It also owns all adjoining real
estate.
2. That it desires to vacate the ten (10) foot alley
shown on said City Plat Map and highlighted in green.
3. That the City Plat Map attached hereto as Exhibit A
shows the real estate which it owns and the ten (10) foot alley
which it desires to vacate.
4. That the legal description attached hereto as
Exhibit B describes the Ten (10) foot alley it desires to vacate.
5. That the real estate which it owns and which it
desires to vacate are contiguous on all sides except the East side
of the alley which is adjacent to Fairview Street.
6. That it desires said vacation to make its property
line even on the south side of the real estate which it owns and
because it needs said real estate for industrial purposes.
7. The alley is more particularly described as follows:
Being a part of a 10 foot wide alley in Beach Fair View
Subdivision as shown in Plat Book 4, Page 107 of the Clark
County, Indiana Records and being further described as
follows:
Beginning at the northern most corner of Lot #38 in Block 1 of
said Beach Fair View Subdivision; Thence S. 37 deg. 30' W.,
120.00 feet to the western most corner of said lot; Thence N.
52 deg. 30' W., 10.00 feet to the north line of the alley;
Thence N. 37 deg. 30' E., along the north line of said alley,
120.00 feet to a point; Thence S. 52 deg. 30' E., 10.00 feet
to THE PLACE OF BEGINNING.
Containing 1200 square feet, more or less.

WHEREAS. the Common Council has caused public hearing to be
set for ~-~/~ , 1994, at.~_~L~_ P.M. in the Council Chambers
and the Clerk-Treasurer has caused notice of that hearing to be
published in the Jeffersonville Eveninq News on ~--~-- ,
1994; and
WHEREAS, the Common Council on ~-~ , 1994, at _
~ P.M. has heard all persons wishing to be heard on the
petition and has determined that neither the public nor the City
will be harmed by vacation of that portion of Fairview Street and
the alley more particularly described hereinafter.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA, THAT:
1. That following described alley and portion of Fairview
Street be and the same is hereby vacated:
Being a part of a 10 foot wide alley in Beach Fair View
Subdivision as shown in Plat Book 4, Page 107 of the Clark
County, Indiana Records and being further described as
follows:
Beginning at the northern most corner of Lot #38 in Block 1 of
said Beach Fair View Subdivision; Thence S. 37 deg. 30' W.,
120.00 feet to the western most corner of said lot; Thence N.
52 deg. 30' W., 10.00 feet to the north line of the alley;
Thence N. 37 deg. 30' E., along the north line of said alley,
120.00 feet to a point; Thence S. 52 deg. 30' E., 10.00 feet
to THE PLACE OF BEGINNING.
Containing 1200 square feet, more or less.
2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its
timely passage, promulgation and approval by the Mayor.
