OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
May 4, 2011
Engineering Coordinator Rick Lovan sat in for Mayor Gailigan and called the meeting to order at
9:31 a.m. and on the call of the roll those members present were Officer Don Grimes sitting in for
Engineering Coordinator Rick Lovan and Councilperson Barbara Wilson
Also present were: Parks Director Bob Manor, Vehicle Maintenance Director Bubby
Vissing, Animal Shelter Director Harry Wilder, Building Commissioner Russ Segraves,
Safety Director Dominick Mongarella, Communications Director Larry Thomas,
Planning and Zoning Director Brian Fogle, Emergency Planner Mindy Christian, W WTP
Director Len Ashack, Sewer Office Manager Bruce Wright, Assistant Fire Chief Mike
McCutcheon, City Engineer Andy Crouch, Human Resources Director Kim Calabro, IT
Director Roger Hardy, Financial Advisor Monica Harmon, City Attorney Darren Wilder,
and Clerk & Treasurer's Office Representative Amanda Oelze.
Councilperson Barbara Wilson made the motion to approve minutes from April 27,
2011. Officer Don Grimes seconded and passing unanimously.
Councilperson Barbara Wilson made the motion to approve payroll, Officer Don
Grimes seconded, and passing on a vote of 3 -0.

NEW BUSINESS
Request for Speed Bump
Terri Hicks came before the board to request 2 speed bumps on New Chapel Road.
She has also requested a police officer come out to patrol for a couple of hours. She
has also requested street lights and Engineering Coordinator Rick Lovan said that he
would have to distribute a letter to residents on the street before to verify they
would be ok with it. Engineering Coordinator Rick Lovan also will go to Crystal
Springs and take a look at where Terri Hicks would like the street lights. She stated
that there would be a block meeting with the residents in Crystal Springs on May 11,
2011 at 7:30 p.m. at their clubhouse.
Officer Don Grimes made the motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:43 a.m. and
Councilperson Barbara Wilson seconded, passing unanimously.
