March 2, 2011
Engineering Coordinator Lovan sat in for Mayor Galligan and called the meeting
to order at 9:36 a.m. and on the call of the roll those members present were
Office Don Grimes sitting in for Engineering Coordinator Lovan and
Councilperson Barbara Wilson
Also present were: Parks Director Bob Manor, Vehicle Maintenance
Director Bubby Vissing, Street Commissioner David Hosea, Animal
Shelter Director Harry Wilder, Building Commissioner Russ Segraves,
Officer Don Grimes, Police Chief Tim Deeringer, Fire Chief David
Kaskie, Assistant Fire Chief Mike McCutcheon, Sewer Office Manager
Bruce Wright, Assistant City Engineer Bill Dixon, Human Resources
Director Kim Calabro, Financial Advisor Monica Harmon, City Attorney
Darren Wilder, and Clerk & Treasurer's Office Representative Amanda
Oelze.
Councilperson Barbara Wilson made the motion to approve minutes
from February 23, 2011. Office Don Grimes seconded and passing
unanimously.
Councilperson Barbara Wilson made the motion to approve payroll,
Officer Don Grimes seconded, and passing on a vote of 3 -0.
OLD BUSINESS

NEW BUSINESS
Taste of Jeff Banner Request
Mary Sue Ellenbrand brought before the board a request to hang a
banner for the Taste of Jeff from May 2 - 20, 2011. Engineering
Coordinator Rick Lovan said it shouldn't be a problem depending on
availability. Councilperson Barbara Wilson made the motion to approve
then banner depending availability, Office Don Grimes seconded,
passing unanimously.
Request for a Street Closure
Bernie and Gabrielle with Adrienne and Company came before the
board to request a street closure from Pearl to Spring on September
23 after 9 PM to September 25 for the Italian Festival.
Councilperson Barbara Wilson made the motion to approve the street
closure from Pearl to Spring from September 23` after 9 pm to
September 25 Officer Don Grimes seconded, passing unanimously.
Councilperson Barbara Wilson made the motion to adjourn at 9:41
a.m. and Officer Don Grimes seconded, passing unanimously.
