SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 93-0R-48
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE,
INDIANA:
Section 1
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville,
hereby elects to compensate Mr. Larry~ James, Sewage Plant
Superintendent, who has, by the Mayor's authority, acted as Sewage
Utility Superintendent, be compensated with a one-time bonus for
additional duties performed as interim Sewage Utility Superintendent
for the period from July 1993 to December 31~ 1993.

RE: Larry James $5,000.00 bonus
Dear Mr. Spencer:
This letter comes to document our conversation in which you inquired of the
propriety of providing a one time, $5,000.00 bonus, to Mr. Larry James, the Jeffersonville
Sewage Plant Superintendent, as per the deskes of the Common Council of Jeffersonville.
It is my opimon that the manner in which this is being completed, as evidenced by the
attached Ordinance, is appropriate, although a bit unusual.
