AN ORDINANCE AMENDING §30.02(A) OF THE
JEFFERSONVlLLE CODE OF ORDINANCES
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville (hereinafter "the
Council") sets its regular meeting times at its first meeting each year; and
WHEREAS, from time to time, the Council may need to change its regular
meeting times;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED that §30.02 (A) of the
Jeffersonville Code of Ordinances is hereby repealed and replaced with the following
Section:
§30,02 REGULAR AND SPECIAL MEETINGS; MEETINGS TO BE PUBLIC.
(A) Regular Meetings. At its first meeting each year, the Common Council
shall adopt a Resolution fixing regular times to conduct at least two (2)
meetings per month. The Common Council may amend the Resolution
fixing the regular meeting times as needed. The Resolution and all
amendments shall be promptly mailed to all news media requesting notice
of meetings pursuant to I.C. 5-14-1.5-5.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
