COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
March 15, 2010
The Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana met in regular session
in Room 101, City Hall, 500 Quartermaster Court, Jeffersonville, Indiana, at 6:30 P.M.
on Monday March 15, 2010.
Councilperson Connie Sellers, with Deputy Clerk Treasurer Barbara Hollis at the
desk, called the meeting to order at 6:30 P.M. Also present were City Attorney Darren
Wilder, Council Attorney Greg Clark. Councilperson Sellers welcomed all in attendance,
asking all those present to stand as Councilperson Ron Grooms gave the invocation.
Councilperson Sellers then asked all those present to join him in the pledge of allegiance
to the flag.
The roll was called and those present were; Councilpersons Ed Zastawny, Keith
Fetz, Connie Sellers, Barbara Wilson, and Ron Grooms.
Absent: Councilpersons Nathan Samuel and Mike Smith.
Councilperson Fetz made the motion to approve the agenda, second by
Councilperson Smith, passing on a vote of 5-0.
Councilperson Sellers presented the minutes for consideration. Councilperson
Wilson made the motion to approve the minutes of February 22, 2010 (6:30 P.M.) second
by Councilperson Grooms, passing on a vote of 5-0. Councilperson Wilson then made
the motion to approve the minutes of March 1, 2010 (5:45 P.M.), second by
Councilperson Zastawny, passing on a vote of 5-0.
Deputy Clerk Hollis presented the claim list for consideration by the Council.
Following discussion, Councilperson Zastawny made the motion to approve the claims as
presented with the addition of a claim to Mat Owen for $250, second by Councilperson
Fetz passing on a vote of 5-0. Councilperson Grooms made the motion to preapprove the
Park claims in the amount of $5,035.79, second by Councilperson Wilson, passing on a
vote of 5-0.

Councilperson Grooms announced Mayor Galligan is in Washington D.C. on
official business. Councilperson Smith is also off on business.
As there was no further business to come before the Council, the meeting was
adjourned at 6:44 P.M. ~
