The Jeffersonville Fire Department Merit Commission met Thursday, December 3,
2009 in the City Council Conference Room, 500 Quartermaster Court, Jeffersonville,lN.
The following were present:
David Martin -President
Ron Glass -Board Member
Jeff Frey -Board Member
Lyn Ackermon -Board Member
Lee Taylor -Board Member
Mary Sue Ellenbrand -Stenographer
Greg Clark -Attorney
CALL TO ORDER:
Mr. Martin called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM.
MINUTES:
Mr. Martin asked if there were any additions or corrections to the minutes of the
November 19, 2009. Hearing none Mr. Frey made a motion to approve the November
19, 2009 minutes. Mr. Glass seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
GREG CLARK:
Mr. Clark passed out a draft of the Rules and Procedures for the Jeffersonville Fire
Merit Commission. The Commission went through the document and made corrections.
Mr.Clark will make the revisions.
Mr. Clark and some of the Commissioners will present a budget to the City Council
on Monday, December 7, 2009.
The Rules and Procedures will be ready for the Public Hearing that will be held on
Thursday, December 17, 2009.
ADJOURNMENT:
Mr. Martin asked if there was any additional business. Hearing none Mr. Frey made a
motion to adjourn the meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 8:15 PM. The next
meeting with be December 3; 2009 at 6:00 PM.
