Frantz~ Peggy Knight Wilder, Barbara Wilson, Steven R. Stemler~ and Robert L. Potter. Absent: Councilpersons Bill Wo!pert and Donna M. Frantz. Mayor Parker explained the minutes of the meetings of previous meeting will be available for approval at the next meeting. Clerk and Treasurer Spencer presented the claim list as well as several additonal claims for consideration by the Council. Following all discussion, Councilperson Potter made the motion to approve the claims and the additional claims as Councilperson Wilson and carried unanimously. Following a favorable response to the poll~ Attorney Councilperson Potter made Confirming Resolution For Approving Statement Abatement~ seconded by roll call vote: Ayes: Nays: Maschmeyer requested the vote be taken. the motion to pass Resolution No. 95-R-1~ A Designation Of Economic Revitalization Area~ of Benefits For Purposes Of Property Tax Councilperson Wilson~ passing on the following Councilpersons Williams, Wilder~ Wilson, and Potter. None. Abstain: Councilperson Stemler. Jack Vissing, Attorney representing Eagle Steel Products~ Inc., explained the scope of the .company, the employees and what they do, and the intention of the new development to add 40 employees. Following all discussion, Councilperson Potter made the motion to pass Resolution No. 95-R-2~ A Resolution Approving Statement of Benefits For Purposes Of Real Property Tax Abatement~ seconded by Councilperson Williams and carried unanimously. Clerk and Treasurer Spencer presented Resolution No. 95-R-3, A Resolution Authorizing The Investment Of Temporarily Dormant Funds~ explaining this must be done each year. Following all Council discussion, Resolution No. 95-R-3~ unanimously. Councilperson President Wilder made the motion to pass seconded by Councilperson Wilson and carried Stemler presented and reviewed a progress report on the Overlook renovation. The project is 24 percent complete. Council President Committee will be meeting. at 9:30 P.M. February 5~ Wilder asked when the Affirmative Action The first meeting will be January 25~ 1995 at the Ken Ellis Center and the second meeting will be 1995 mt 9:30 P.M. at Hoosier Valley. She is looking forward to working with the Mayor as closly as possible to get these things done. Council President Wilder offers her help with the Affirmative Action Committee. She again thanked all and wished all a Happy New Year. There being no 'Further business to come before the Council, Councilperson Potter moved to adjourn at 8:00 o'clock P.M. seconded by Councilperson Stemler and unanimously carried.
