MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY
OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
JUNE 17, 2009
Planning and Zoning Director Urban called the meeting to order at 9:40 a.m. and on call of the roll those
members present were: Vehicle Maintenance Director Drury sitting in for Engineer Miller and
Councilperson Wilson. City Growth Coordinator Lovan sat in as a voting member of the Board.
Also present were: Police Chief Deeringer, Vehicle Maintenance Director Drury, City Attorney
Wilder, Parks Director Manor, Assistant Fire Chief Grant, IT Director Hardy, Sewer Office Manager
Mattingly, Building Commissioner Segraves, Animal Shelter Director Wilder, Personnel Director
Calabro, Street Commissioner Hosea, Redevelopment Director Robinson, Communications Director
Thomas, Sewer Inspector Wright, WWTP Assistant Director Kearney, WWTP Director Ashack, IT
Director Hardy, and Deputy Clerk Mayfield.
• Councilperson Wilson made the motion to approve the minutes of 6-10-09 as presented, and
seconded by Vehicle Maintenance Director Drury and carried unanimously.
Councilperson Wilson made the motion to approve the payroll as presented, and seconded by
Vehicle Maintenance Director Drury and carried unanimously.
NEW BUSINESS
PINNACLE SECURITY DOOR TO DOOR SALES
Councilperson Wilson the motion to approve the request by Pinnacle Security to sell door to
door from 8 am till 8 pm pending the issuance of a permit from the Clerk Treasurer's office,
seconded by Vehicle Maintenance Director Drury and carried unanimously.
PROPERTY CASUALTY/PEPPER COOPER
Pepper Cooper appeared before the Board with a check for $20,000.00 for the Fieldhouse
roof.
There being no further discussion to come before the Board, Councilperson Wilson made the
motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:50 a.m., seconded by Vehicle Maintenance Director Drury
and carried unanimouslv._ .-,
