COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF JEF?ERSONVILLE, INDIANA
JULY 31, 1996
The Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville met in
special session in the Mayor's Conference Room in the City-County
Building, Jeffersonville, Indiana, at 5:3~ P.M. on the 31st day of
July, 1996.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Thomas R. Galligan,
with Clerk Alice Davis, at the desk. Mayor Galllgan asked all those
present to stand as Councllperson Ron Ellis gave the invocation. He
then asked all those present to join him in the pledge of allegiance
to the flag.
The roll was called and those present were Counci!persons
John Perkins, Ron Ellis, Barbara Wilson, Andrew Williams III.
Absent: Councllpersons Donna M. Frantz, Peggy Knight Wilder,
Vlcky Conlin.
Mayor Ga!ligan presented a claim for $61~741.78 for the
Dutch Lane project, our share of the money for the improvement.
Councllperson Perkins made the motion to approve the claim for
$61,741.78, seconded by Councllperson Ellis, and carried unanimously.
qq There being no further business to come before the Council,
Councllperson Perkins moved to adjourn at 6:15 o'clock P.M.
by Councilperson Ellis and unanimously carried.
