A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING PROPOSAL BY THE
CITY PLAN COMMISSION FOR AMENDMENT OF
THE CITY ZONING ORDINANCE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville that
pursuant to Indiana Code 36-7-4-602, the Jeffersonville Plan Commission should prepare
a proposal to amend the text of the City's previously adopted Zoning ordinance in such
a way to prohibit the permissible use of any property within the City, or the City's
adopted 2 mile fringe, for any purpose involving the cleaning and/or storage
barrels and/or drams, unless the facilities for cleaning and storage are conducted
completely indoors and the ventilation system for said facilities are designed and built
with a system removing any airborne malodorous substances.
Passed and adoptefl by the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville, Clark
County, State of Indiana, on this ].ff day of July, 1995.
