OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
JUNE 4, 2008
Mayor Galligan called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. and on call of the roll those members present
were: Engineer Miller and Councilperson Wilson.
Also present were: Asst. Fire Chief Grant, Chief of Staff Young, Planning and Zoning Direction Urban,
Events Coordinator Knight, Vehicle Maintenance Director Dmry, Building Commissioner Segraves,
Street Commissioner Hosea, Animal Shelter Director Wilder, Attorney Wilder, Personnel Director
Calabro, Pazks Director Manor, Communications Director Thomas, Purchase Order Clerk Smith, Sewer
Office Manager Mattingly, Fire Chief Harrod, Planning and Zoning Director Robinson, Emergency
Planner Christian, Safety Director Lovan, and Deputy Clerk May&eld.
Councilperson Wilson made the motion to approve [he minutes of 5-28-08 as presented, seconded by
Engineer Miller and carried unanimously.
Engineer Miller made the motion to approve the payroll as presented, seconded by Councilperson
Wilson and carried unanimously.
OLD BUSINESS
ICE CREAM TRUCK PERMIT
Engineer Miller made the motion to approve the permit for David Peterson to operate an ice
cream truck in the city, and seconded by Councilperson Wilson and carried unanimously. A
half hour before dark is the cutoff time.

Engineer Miller made the motion to approve a permit for Frosty Treats to operate an ice
cream truck in the city, seconded by Councilperson Wilson and carried unanimously. A half
hour before dark is the cutoff time.
JULY 4Ttt PARADE
• Events Coordinator Knight said the city will have a float in the July 4'h pazade. She said
herself, Candy Stewart, and Mary Sue Ellenbrand aze working on the details. She said any
and all participation is welcome.
JEFF FEST
Keith Stay[on and Councilperson Wilson spoke in regardto Jeff Fest to be held on Saturday,
June 14, 2008 in Preservation Park. The asked that Market Street be blocked from Pearl to
Spring Streets and would like "no parking" signs erected. The Fire Dep[. will provide ice.
Picnic tables and chairs, trash cans, and portable toilets were also requested. Engineer Miller
made the motion to approve the street closures from ! 0 am ti117 pm on June 14, 2008, and
seconded by Councilperson Wilson and carsied unanimously.
There being no further discussion to come before the Board, Engineer Miller made [he
motion to adjourn the meeting at 10:00 a.m., seconded by Councilperson Wilson and carried
unanimously.
