AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORINANCE 07-OR-69, AN ORDINANCE FIXING BASIC SALARIES OF ELECTED
OFFICIALS OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA FOR THE YEAR 2008
WHEREAS, IC 36-1-26(3) designates the Common Council ofthe City of Jeffersonville as the Fiscal Body of said city, and
WHEREAS, IC 36-1-2-9(3) designates the Common Council of the Ciry ofJeffersonville as the Legislative Body of said city,
NOW, THEREFORE, LET 1T BE ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE
SECTION 1 This Ordinance shall set forth the annual compensation payable to elected officials ofNre City ofJeffersonville for the
calendar year of2008.
SECTION 2 From and after the first day ofJanuary 200R, tha following elected offcials of the City ofJeffersonville shall receive
[he following annual compensation:
GENERAL FOND:

This ordinance shall be deemed adopted after passage by the Common Council of [he Ci[y of Jeffersonville and approval by
the Mayor of the City ofJeffersonville, or the timely override of his veto. This ordinance shall be in toll force and effect as of
January 1, 2008. (y
