A RESOLUTION OF INTEREST
IN MAKING PURCHASE OF LAND FOR ANIMAL SHELTER
WHEREAS, the City of Jeffersonville (hereinafter "the City") needs to acquire real
estate to build a new animal shelter;
and
WHEREAS, the owner of the real estate more specifically described in Exhibit A,
attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein ("the Real Estate") has expressed
an interest in selling, or donating, the Real Estate to the City;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the Common Council of
the City of Jeffersonville (hereinafter "the Council"), pursuant to I.C. 36-1-10.5-6 hereby
adopts this resolution expressing its interest in purchasing the land more specifically
described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein.
