MINUTES OF THE SANITARY SEWER BOARD OF
THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE
November 7, 2007
The Sanitary Sewer Board of the City of Jeffersonville met in regular session in the Mayor's
Conference room in the City Hall, Jeffersonville, Indiana on the 7th day of November, 2007.
Mayor Waiz called the meeting to order at 9:05a.m. Board Members Bill Saegesser and Jeffrey
Caldwell were present. Also present were Mike Meyer, Jorge Lanz, Bob Miller, Scott Lewis, Greg
Maddox, Doan Edmundson, Casey Wilson, Carey Thorn and Michael Johnson.
Bill Saegesser moved to approve the agenda as amended, seconded by Jeffrey Caldwell, passing
unanimously.
The claims were presented to the board for approval. Bill Saegesser moved to approve the claims as
presented, seconded by Jeffrey Caldwell, passing unanimously.
Doan Edmundson from Select Snacks addressed the board regarding the old Wyandot Plant. Mr.
Edmundson advised the board they were currently in bankruptcy and were requesting a reduction in
penalties or likewise compensation from the City to stay in town. Denny Travarse and Greg
Maddox from Jay's Acquisitions were interested parties requesting additional information. The
board advised they would have to look into in much greater detail and become familiar with
potential problems.
Alisha from the Sewer Billing Department introduced Casey Wilson, Carey Thorn and Michael
Johnson from Republic Bank regarding their Lock Box Process.
Bill Saegesser moved to allow Bob Miller permission to line the manholes at 8th and Morris,
seconded by Jeffrey Caldwell, passing unanimously.
Mike Meyer presented a proposal regarding the split of Industrial surcharge fees. The board
requested additional information before making a decision.
