HomeMy WebLinkAbout09-04-2007 MINUTES OF THE SANITARY SEWER BOARD OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE September 4, 2007 The Sanitary Sewer Board of the City of Jeffersonville met in regular session in the Mayor's Conference room in the City Hall, Jeffersonville, Indiana on the 4th day of September, 2007. Chairman Jeffrey Caldwell called the meeting to order at 3:15p.m. Board Member Bill Saegesser was present. Also present were Mike Meyer, Jorge Lanz, Bob Miller, Mark Sneve, John Perkins, Bruce Paul and R. Scott Lewis. Bill Saegesser moved to approve the agenda as amended, seconded by Jeffrey Caldwell, passing unanimously. Bill Saegesser moved to table the Minutes of August 7,2007 and August 2,2007, seconded by Jeffrey Caldwell, passing unanimously. The claims were presented to the board for approval. Bill Saegesser moved to approve the claims as presented, seconded by Jeffrey Caldwell, passing unanimously. John Perkins addressed the board regarding the amendment of Ordinance 2004-0R-63 in regards to the tap in fees within existing corporate boundaries, including the newly annexed areas. Bruce Paul addressed the board on behalf of Ashland Properties regarding the overpayment of $105,000 in tap in fees. Bill Saegesser moved to deny the request for reimbursement, seconded by Jeffrey Caldwell, passing unanimously. Len Ashack presented the Monthly Progress Report. Mark Sneve presented the Summary of Ongoing Public Works Projects. Steve Keiber presented the Project Status Report. Jorge Lanz presented a Status Report. Bill Saegesser moved to authorize JTL to proceed with the design on Ewing Lane/Louise Street Pump Station, seconded by Jeffrey Caldwell, passing unanimously. Mike Meyer presented July Monthly Operations Report. Bill Saegesser moved to approve the tap in fees at Sellers Court/Candy Lane in accordance with ordinance at the time they were annexed into the city at $1,000 plus inspection fee of $25.00, although the City has not provided sewers as of yet, seconded by Jeffrey Caldwell ~~ ill ~ '
