JEFFERSONVILLE BUILDING AUTHORITY
MINUTES
September 11, 2007
A regular meeting of the Jeffersonville Building Authority was held
Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in the second floor conference
room at The Jeffersonville City Hall.
Members present were Building Commissioner Russ Segraves, President
John Perkins, Rick Meynard, and Mayor Rob Waiz.
Staff present: Mary Hunter and Mary Frey.
Others present: Consultant, Jack Waldrip.
Annroval of Minutes:
Russ Segraves made a motion to approve the minutes of the August 28,
2007, meeting seconded by John Perkins, Mayor Rob Waiz, and carried
unanimously.
Old Business:
A. 2008 Budget.
. Same, except for increasing the utility budget to $80,000,
approved by Russ Segraves, seconded by John Perkins and
Mayor Rob Waiz
B. Authority Vacancy
. Filled by counCil Tom Kempf
C. Election of Officers
. Tabled until the next meeting.
D. Review of Claims, motion made by Russ Segraves, approved by John
Perkins and seconded by Mayor Rob Waiz.
. Department of Homeland Security- $98.00
. Johnson Control- $281.35
. Cousins Cleaning - $3,200.00
. Jack Waldrip - $150.00

E. Construction Issues
Recommendation of final payment to Subcontractors will not be paid
as of yet, motion to move made by Russ Segraves, seconded by John
Perkins and Mayor Rob Waiz
. Bill Church Painting: $3,431.77
. Kentuckiana Comfort: $36,981.76
. Oracle Elevator-$507.75
. E&H Construction: $5,000.00 (for Bill Church)
. Rosa Mosaic Tile: $1,100.00
F. Maintenance Issues
Mayor Rob Waiz made a motion to approve the maintenance issues and
seconded by Russ Segraves and John Perkins, with the exception of Lawn
Sprinklers and HV AC.

. Fire/Alarm Sprinkler & Extinguishers (Simplex)
. Closed Loud Water Treatment & Antifreeze (Atom Chemical)
. Snow Removal (Walnut Ridge)
. Lawn Sprinklers (Chism-no contract, not approved)
. Pest Control Boggs
. UPS (Sobek Enterprises)
. Cleaning Services (Cousins Cleaning: month-to-month)
New Business .
. Stairway Carpet Cleaning- Chern Cleam recommended by Jack
Waldrip, approved by Russ Segraves, seconded by John Perkins
and Mayor Rob Waiz.
Adiournment
With no further discussion John Perkins made a motion to adjourn at 10:50
a.m. The next scheduled meeting has been changed to September 26, 2007
at 3 :00 p.m. Approved by John Perkins, seconded by Russ Segraves, and
Mayor Rob Waiz.
