JEFFERSONVILLE BUILDING AUTHORITY
MEETING :MINUTES
October 23, 2007
I. Call to order
A regular meeting of the Jeffersonville Building Authority was held
Tuesday, October .23,2007 at 9:00 a.ill. in the second floor
conference room at The Jeffersonville City Hall.
II. Roll call
Members present were Building Commissioner Russ Segraves,
President John Perkins, Keith Stayton, Gary Johnson and Mayor
Rob Waiz.
Staffpresent: Mary Hunter
Others present: Jack Waldrip and Rick Meynard
III. Auuroval of minutes from the last meetin2
Russ Segraves made a motion to approve the minutes of the
October 9,2007 meeting, seconded by John Perkins and carried
unanimously.
IV. Old business
A Review of claims- no claims at this time
B. Vacant board position- no action taken
C. Maintenance Issues
. Busted Bladder IH Expansion Tank; Replacement cost with
HMC is $1,947.00, and Alliance is $1,851.00. Russ Segraves
made a motion to approve Alliance, seconded by John Perkins
and approved unanimously.
. Automatic Sprinkler Repairs- a quote lias been requested.
. Maintenance contract was thoroughly explained by Rick
Meynard. He will send out 4 contract requests to Alliance, Ware
Energy, Schardein Mechanical and HMC within the next two
days and a deadline to return all bids is set for November 7,
2007 at noon.
. UPS Systems- Eaton Service Proposal/Agreement Monitor
Card; new quote is $2,900.00- Rick Meynard is working on it.
. Wildcat Fence- The fence has arrived and will be installed the
first week of November.

V. Open issues
. This is some information related to the transformer damage that
occurred on September 25,2007.
. Johnson Control Invoice for $363.96 sent to State Farm
Insurance
. Temporary air conditioner units were rented from Paul Davis at
a cost of$419.64.
. Walnut Ridge has begun work to repair the grounds.
Handicap sign & pole were ordered from Cornerstone.
VI. New business
. Window and canopy leaks:
There is an issue with the gutters overflowing causing water to
run down onto the second and third floor windows and canopy.
In order to repair the leaks, Russ will look into finding someone:
to caulk and seal the windows and make repairs wherever
necessary.
. Next meeting dates are scheduled for November 8th at 3:00 p.m.
and November .20th at 9:00 a.m.
VII. Adiournment
. With no further discussion, John Perkins made a motion to
adjourn at 10: 11 a.m. seconded by Russ Segraves and carried
unanimously.
