NOVEMBER 14, 2007
Engineer Miller called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. and on call of the roll. those members present
were: Street Commissioner Ellis and Fire Chief Miles.
Also present were: Animal Shelter Director Wilder, Vehicle Maintenance Director Drury, Building
Commissianer Segraves, and Deputy Cierk Mayfield.
Street Commissioner Ellis made the motion to approve the payroll, seconded by Fire Chief
Miles and carried unanimously.
CONTRACT FOR PACKER AND SWEEPER

-' Street Commissioner Ellis said the bids have been reviewed and he made the motion to
approve the bid of McNeilus Trucking for the packer and Best Equipment for the sweeper,
seconded by Fire Chief Miles and carried unanimously.
HEALTH INSURANCE
Larry Lynn came before the Baard to get approval for renewal of the Health Insurance plan
with Humana for 2008. The plan will have the same benefits with no additional cost to the
employees. Mr. Lynn looked at Anthem and United Health Care and Humana was the best
overall He said part of this- good plan is due to the good work of Mayor Waiz four years ago.
The Dental plan with Humana will remain the same as well. Fire Chief Miles made the
motion to approve Humana as the Health and Dental provider for 2008, seconded by Street
Commissioner E11is and carried unanimously.
