THIRD AMENDMENT TO THE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT ON THE
RIVER RIDGE JOINT REUSE AUTHORITY,
F/K/A INAAP REUSE AUTHORITY
This document comprises the third amendment to an Interlocal Agreement (hereinafter the
original Interlocal Agreement and the amendments are referred to as the "Interlocal Agreement")
reached between the Board of Commissioners of Clark County, Indiana, the City of Jeffersonville,
Indiana, the City of Charlestown, Indiana, the town of Utica, Indianan and the State of Indiana Port C
omission, which agreement was approved by the Indiana Attorney General on December 12, 1999. A
copy of the Interlocal Agreement and of the amendments are attached hereto, marked as "Exhibit A",
and incorporated by reference herein, the undersigned bodies politic do agree that said Interlocal
Agreement should be further amended by adding the following provisions:
EMPLOYEE HEALTH INSURANCE AND BENEFITS
For purposes of obtaining employee health and other types of employee insurance and benefits,
the Reuse Authority's employees shall be deemed to be employees of the City of Charlestown, and shall
be eligible for such of the group benefits which the City of Charlestown may have in effect for its
employees. The Reuse Authority shall have authority to choose such benefits as it determines to offer,
and shall reimburse the City of Charlestown, in advance, for the monthly premiums and costs accruing
from time to time.
EXECUTED by the respective parties on the dates set opposite their representatives'
signatories, and effective as of the last such date of execution.
