MINUTES
June 12, 2007
A regular meeting of the Jeffersonville Building Authority was held
Tuesday June 12, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in the second floor conference roorn at
The Jeffersonville City Hall.
Members present were Mayor Rob Waiz, Building Commissioner Russ
Segraves, President Gary Johnson, Keith Stayton and John Perkins.
Staffpresent: Redevelopment Director Barry Cahill and Mary Frey.
Others present: Consultants Jack Waldrip and Rick Maynard.
Approval of Minutes:
Russ Segraves mad~ a motion to approve the minutes of the May 29,2007
meeting, seconded by Gary Johnson and carried unanimously.
Old Business:
Russ Segraves presented an update on the air conditioning units for the IT
room, he presented a verbal bid for 2 mitsubishi wall mounted units in the
amount of$ 43,500.00. Mayor Rob Waiz made a motion to purchase 2
mitsubishi units from Independent Piping, seconded by Russ Segraves,
with Gary Johnson voting no. The motion passed 3 to 1.
New Business:
Russ Segraves made a motion to pay claims for Waldrip Consulting
($175.00), Rick Maynard ($2,280.00), and Cousins Cleaning for 2 months
(6,400.00), seconded by Gary Johnson and approved unanimously.
Russ Segraves made a motion to hire Rick Maynard to write a procedure
for emergency maintenance for the building, seconded by Gary Johnson
and carried unanimously.
Russ Segraves made a motion to purchase a key box for the organization of
the building keys, seconded by Gary Johnson and carried unanimously.

Russ Segraves mentioned that the Jeffersonville Fire Department would
like a knox box located in the building. John Perkins made a motion to
purchase a box and locate it in the Police Department entrance, seconded
by Mayor Rob Waiz and carried unanimously.
With no further discussiop: John Perkins made a motion to adjourn at
10:50 a.m. seconded by Gary Johnson and carried unanimously.
