JEFFERSONVILLE BUILDING AUTHORITY
MlNUTES
January 23, 2007
A regular meeting of the Jeffersonville Building Authority was held
Tuesday January 23,2007 at 9:00 a.m. in the Council Conference room at
The Jeffersonville City Hall.
Members present were Building Commissioner Russ Segraves, President
Gary Johnson, Keith Stayton, Calvin Kavanaugh and Mayor Rob Waiz.
Staff present: Mary Frey
Others present: Beautification Committee representative Tony Decker.
Approval of Minutes:
Gary Johnson made a motion to approve the minutes of the January 9,
2007, meeting seconded by Keith Stayton and carried unanimously.
Old Business:
Gary Johnson made a motion to table election of officers until this matter
can be discussed with City Attorney Les Merkley, seconded by Keith
Stayton and carried unanimously.
Keith Stayton made a motion to approve claims for David Fischer in the
amount of $1580.00 and $680.00, seconded by Russ Segraves and carried
unanimously. The claims will be paid for by Jeffersonville Redevelopment.
Russ Segraves presented bids from the Palmer Roofing Company in the
amounts of $6,200.00 for repair of roof gutters and diverters and in the
amount of $4,944.00 for canopy repair. The bids will be tabled until
discussed with Estopinal Group.

NEW BUSINESS:
Russ Segraves will accept bids for a fence to secure the chiller and
generator and to tile first floor stairwells, he will also check on the
handicap parking signs.
Gary Johnson will get bids for chemical service on the lawn.
It was decided to schedule next meetings for February 13th and 27th, 2007
at 9:00a.m.
With no further discussion Gary Johnson made a motion to adjourn at
10:30 a.m. seconded by Calvin Cavanaugh and carried unanimously.
