JEFFERSONVILLE BUILDING AUTHORITY
MlNUTES
December 5,2006
A regular meeting of the Jeffersonville Building Authority was held
Tuesday December 5, 2006 at 3 :00 p.m. in the Building Commission
conference room at The Jeffersonville City Hall.
Members present were Building Commissioner Russ Segraves, President
Gary Johnson, Calvin Kavanaugh and Keith Stayton.
Absent: Mayor Rob Waiz
Staff present: Mary Frey
Others present: Consultants Rick Maynard and Jack Waldrip
ApDroval of Minutes:
Keith Stayton made a motion to approve the minutes of the November 28,
2006 meeting seconded by Calvin Kavanaugh and carried unanimously.
Old Business:
Rick Maynard presented a proposal for a preventative maintenance
program for the Jeffersonville City Hall Building and perimeter ground
area. The start up fee will consist ofa $3,800.00 fee plus materials and any
long-distance phone calls, with a continued follow up fee at a hourly rate
of$55.00. Gary Johnson made a motion to accept Rick Maynard proposal
( step one) and to retain him @ a hourly fee as needed with Keith Stayton
seconded and carried unanimously.
Gary Johnson presented an update on a budget review and will be working
with the Clerks office on finalizing a budget for The Jeffersonville
Building Authority.
Gary Johnson presented a proposal for snow removal and grounds
maintenance from Walnut Ridge, he will talk to Sun Construction before
any decision is made.

New Business:
Gary Johnson will check into a paging/phone system for contact purposes
with the cleaning service.
With no further discussion Gary Johnson made a motion to adjourn at 4:30
p.m. seconded Cal. Kavanaugh and carried unanimously.
