JEFFERSONVILLE BUILDING AUTHORITY
MINUTES
November 14,2006
A regular meeting of the Jeffersonville Building Authority was held
Tuesday November 14, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. in the Building Commission
conference room at The Jeffersonville City Hall.
Members present were Building Commissioner Russ Segraves, President
Gary Johnson, and Keith Stayton.
Absent: Calvin Kavan~ugh and Mayor Robert Waiz
Others present were Jack Waldrip
A~Droval of Minutes:
Keith Stayton made a motion to approve the minutes of the November 6,
2006 meeting seconded by Gary Johnson and canied unanimously.
New Business:
Roger Hardy IT Director explained City Halls electrical operation for the
emergency generator. Roger said that a one time service with a simulated 4
hour load test is an additional cost of $510.00. Keith Stayton is to get
additional information.
It was agreed for Russ to purchase a file cabinet for Building Authority
records.
Floyd Henderson with Cousins Cleaning Concepts explained what
additional services his company could provide in the way of housekeeping
and maintenance no action taken.

Russ presented an annual maintenance contract from Simplex Grinnell for
the fire sprinkler systems, fire alarm detection systems, portable fire
extinguisher and backflow preventer inspection at a price of$1,526.00.
Also presented was a monitoring agreement for the fire protection system
with an annual fee of$ 408.00 and a service technician hook up charge of
$276.00 with the customer to provide 2 RJ31X phone jacks. Keith Stayton
made a motion to accept the contract and monitoring agreement, seconded
by Gary Johnson and canied unanimously.
Keith Stayton made a motion to purchase two trash cans, seconded by Gary
Johnson and carried unanimously.
The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday November 21,2006 at 3:00p.m.
There being no further business to discuss a motion was made by Gary
Johnson to adjourn at 5:00 p.m. seconded by Keith Stayton and carried
unanim sly.
