JEFFERSONVILLE BUILDING AUTHORITY
MINUTES
OCTOBER 31, 2006
A regular meeting of the Jeffersonville Building Authority was held
Tuesday October 31,2006 at 4:00 p.m. in the Building Commission
conference room at The Jeffersonville City Hall.
Members present were Building Commissioner Russ Segraves, President
Gary Johnson and Calvin Kavanaugh.
Members absent: Keith Stayton, Mayor Robert Waiz
Staff present: Les Merkley
Aporoval of Minutes:
Gary Johnson made a motion to approve the minutes of the October 24,
2006 meeting seconded by Russ Segraves and carried unanimously.
Old Business:
Another bid was received from lIMC Service Company for HV AC and
water treatment with no ~ion taken. Several items from the October 24,
2006 meeting were discussed with no action taken.
New Business:
Les Merkley is to ask Mayor Waiz to set up a meeting with E.H
Construction Company, The Estopinal Group and The Building Authority
to discuss the punch list.
Les Merkley is to ask Mayor Waiz to set up a meeting with Sun Properties,
The Department of Redevelopment and The Building Authority to discuss
the latest arrangements for snow removal etc.
There was other service contracts mentioned and they were generator ~d
fire protection with no action taken.

There was discussion on legal, organization, finance, maintenance and
construction issues with no action taken.
The next meeting is scheduled for Monday November 6, 2006 at 3 :OOp.m.
Other scheduled meetings will be every Tuesday until the end of the year.
There being no further business to discuss a motion was made by Calvin
Kavanaugh to adjourn at 5:00 p.m., seconded by Gary Johnson, and carried
unanim sly.
